Clapham & Brixton · Since 2018

Your dogin very good hands.

Hi, I'm Beverly. I walk small groups of friendly dogs across Clapham Common and Brockwell Park — rain, shine, and everything in between. I treat every dog like they're my own, because, honestly, after a few weeks they kind of are.

A note from me —

I'm Beverly, and this is my whole job.

I've loved dogs my whole life. After years of walking other people's (and eventually running out of friends whose dogs I could borrow), I started Clapham Paws in 2018. These days I'm out on the Common most mornings with a small, carefully-matched group of regulars — the sort of walk where everyone gets a proper sniff, a proper run-about, and a proper cuddle before I drop them home. I live just off the Common, so I know the quiet corners, the muddy shortcuts, and which gate is easier when it's pouring. Whatever your dog needs — a zoomy group walk, a calm potter for a senior, or a quiet puppy outing — I'll tailor it to them. No large franchises, no rotating staff. Just me and your dog.

What the neighbours say.

From families across Clapham, Brixton, and the backstreets in between.

Beverly is absolutely wonderful with our springer spaniel, Max. He gets so excited when he sees her arrive — tail going like a helicopter! We couldn't ask for a more caring and reliable walker.

Sarah T.

& Max

Our French Bulldog Rufus absolutely lights up when Beverly arrives. He can be a stubborn little character on the lead but Beverly has such a calm, patient way with him. She always sends lovely photos from Clapham Common and we know he's in the best hands.

Daniel & Sophie W.

& Rufus

Beverly walks our Cavapoo Hugo and his little sister Tia, a Chihuahua, and they both adore her. Having two dogs from the same household is so easy with the multi-dog discount. Beverly really understands each of their personalities and gives them exactly what they need.

Rachel M.

& Hugo & Tia

We were nervous about leaving our cat Astra while on holiday but Beverly was wonderful. Daily photos, fresh water, clean litter tray, and plenty of playtime. Astra was completely relaxed when we got home — you can tell she was well looked after.

How many dogs are in a group walk?
Group walks have a maximum of 4 small to medium dogs. Large dogs are not accepted on group walks and should book a solo walk instead. Beverly carefully matches dogs by size, temperament, and energy level to ensure safe and enjoyable walks for everyone. Only dog-friendly, social dogs are accepted on group walks.
Do you walk dogs in all weather?

In extreme weather (heavy storms or dangerous heat), walk times or duration may be adjusted for your dog's safety and comfort, and Beverly will always communicate any changes in advance.
Can you administer medication to my dog?
Yes, Beverly is experienced in administering oral medication, eye drops, and other routine treatments. Please let her know about any medical needs during the initial consultation so she can discuss the best approach for your dog's care.
What happens on the first walk?
Before the first walk, Beverly arranges a free meet-and-greet at your home. This gives her a chance to meet your dog, learn about their temperament, exercise needs, and any special requirements. It also lets your dog get comfortable with Beverly in familiar surroundings. She'll collect your keys as part of the secure keyholder service and discuss the best schedule for your dog.
Can I choose my dog's leash length?
Absolutely. You can let Beverly know your preferences for how your dog is handled during walks, including leash length, whether they can go off-lead in certain areas, and any other handling instructions. Beverly tailors every walk to your wishes and your dog's individual needs.
Do you offer discounts for multiple dogs?
Yes! If you have two or more dogs from the same household, each additional dog is 50% off the service price. The discount is applied automatically when you book.
How do I book or get a quote?

Beverly carries your puppy in a provided sling where necessary, gently introducing them to the sights, sounds, and smells of the neighbourhood to build their confidence. Puppies must weigh no more than 4kg. Sessions cost £20.
What is doggy boarding?
Doggy boarding means your dog stays overnight in Beverly's home rather than in a kennel. It's a comfortable, home-from-home experience with regular walks, feeding, companionship, and plenty of attention. Dogs must be vaccinated, friendly with other dogs, and small to medium in size. Boarding costs £28 per night.
What is dog sitting?

Do you provide poop bags?
Yes, Beverly always carries poop bags on every walk — you don't need to worry about providing them. She cleans up after your dog as standard, keeping parks and pavements tidy for everyone.
Do you offer a keyholder service?
Yes, Clapham Paws offers a secure keyholder service. During the initial meet-and-greet, Beverly collects a spare key so she can let herself in and out for walks and visits without disturbing your routine. Keys are stored securely and labelled with a code rather than your address for safety. This is included at no extra charge.

Beverly offers both 30-minute and 60-minute dog walks. Group walks are available in 30-minute (£13) and 60-minute (£17) sessions, while solo walks are available in 30-minute (£17.50) and 60-minute (£21) sessions.
