A note from me —
I've loved dogs my whole life. After years of walking other people's (and eventually running out of friends whose dogs I could borrow), I started Clapham Paws in 2018. These days I'm out on the Common most mornings with a small, carefully-matched group of regulars — the sort of walk where everyone gets a proper sniff, a proper run-about, and a proper cuddle before I drop them home. I live just off the Common, so I know the quiet corners, the muddy shortcuts, and which gate is easier when it's pouring. Whatever your dog needs — a zoomy group walk, a calm potter for a senior, or a quiet puppy outing — I'll tailor it to them. No large franchises, no rotating staff. Just me and your dog.

Sociable, supervised walks with a small group of friendly dogs across Clapham Common and local green spaces. Up to 4 small to medium dogs per group for safety and individual attention. Large dogs should book a solo walk. Poop bags provided on every walk.

Gentle one-hour outdoor sessions for young puppies who haven't yet had their final vaccinations. Beverly introduces them to the sights, sounds, and smells of the neighbourhood to build confidence.

Your dog stays overnight in Beverly's home for a comfortable, caring experience. Small to medium dogs are welcomed into a safe, loving environment with regular walks, companionship, and plenty of attention — just like being at home.

Daily enrichment visits in your own home while you're out or away. Beverly provides play, social interaction, feeding, and mental stimulation to keep your dog happy and settled. Walks and overnight stays are booked separately.

Where we walk
Home base is Clapham Common. I cover the surrounding streets on foot — no van, no pickups from miles away.
Clapham Common is Beverly's home base and the heart of her daily dog walking service. This stunning 220-acre green space offers everything dogs love — wide open fields for off-lead play, shaded woodland paths, and the popular Eagle Pond area. Beverly walks dogs here every day, knowing every corner from the bandstand to the Long Road stretch. The Common is perfect for group walks, with well-maintained paths and plenty of space for dogs to socialise safely. She regularly uses the quieter western meadows for dogs who prefer calmer environments.
Brixton's jewel for dog walkers is Brockwell Park — a beautiful 50-acre hilltop park with panoramic views across London. The park's mix of open grassland, tree-lined avenues, and the walled garden area makes it ideal for varied and interesting walks. Beverly picks up dogs from the residential streets around Brixton Hill, Acre Lane, and the Herne Hill border, walking them through Brockwell Park's quieter northern paths. The park is particularly lovely in the mornings when it's less busy, and dogs enjoy the gentle slopes and shaded areas around the ponds.
